Our Mission: To Demystify Mental Health
Madeleine Fabian previously worked in disability, homelessness and youth services and in the mental health sector before founding Meeting Minds Training in 2016 as a way to better answer the needs of schools and organisations that she didn’t have the capacity to respond to as part of her day job. It quickly became a full time gig.
Madeleine is passionate about helping workplaces, community services and high schools to be places that support mental health and wellbeing.
She is a Master Mental Health First Aid Instructor and is currently a member of the Board of Mental Health Carers NSW and of the Assessment Committee of the Australian Health Promotion Association. She has a Bachelor of Arts (Sociology & Social Policy), a Master of Development Studies (Community Development) and a Certificate IV in Training & Assessment. We work on the principles of...
Collaboration - We believe that working together produces the best results and we are committed to doing our part.
Evidence - We don't give personal opinions. We facilitate access to skills and resources with a basis in evidence.
Inclusivity - Everyone and every place is different. We tailor our services to specific needs and to reflect diversity wherever possible.
Recovery - We maintain an attitude of optimism, hope, and respect for the abilities and contributions of people experiencing mental illness.
Purpose Over Profit - Health outcomes are our priority. We will refer you to other services if we believe that they better meet your needs.
